WATERFORD MILLS — Andrew Snyder, a Bethany Christian High School graduate, has signed to continue his academic and soccer careers at Goshen College.
A four-year varsity player at Bethany, Snyder was a two-time all-Northern Indiana Soccer Conference selection. He helped the Bruins to three sectional championships and two regional titles, losing to eventual state champion Fort Wayne Cantebury twice.
Snyder was also an all-District 21 second-team selection after his senior season. He was a top-10 graduate at Bethany.
“Andrew is a great leader on and off the field,” said Bethany coach Mark Yoder. “He is a playmaker and made our offense go. He has the ability to join in the attack and scored some important goals for Bethany.”
Goshen coach Tavi Mounsithiraj is very pleased at his new edition.
“Andrew is such a great all-around player with good instincts for the game,” said Mounsithiraj. “He will help us anywhere on the field with his quickness and he has the ability to make plays both offensively and defensively, is a good passer, plays hard every minute he is on the field, and has the ability to go forward and score goals.”
