DUNLAP — Morgan Books, a Concord High School graduate, has signed to continue her academic and soccer careers at Bethel College in Mishawaka.

Books, a defender, was a three-year starter and three-year letterwinner for Concord, coached by Todd Hesselbart.

She was a key back line player while serving as captain and earning first-team all-Northern Lakes Conference honors for the 2012 sectional champion Minutemen.

In the classroom, Books earned a 3.8 grade-point average and was a member of Students Against Destructive Decisions (S.A.D.D.) and National Honor Society. As a junior, she was a Kiwanis student-athlete of the month.

Bethel, coached by Steve Dregits, is a member of the Crossroads League. The Pilots went 7-10-2 overall and 2-5-2 in conference play in 2012.
