Baseball: Raiders move to 7-1 with win against Warsaw

Winning pitcher Blake Fry (4-0) struck out seven while Shannon Baker (home run) and Austin Moniot (two runs scored) plated two runs each in helping Northridge (7-1, 3-0) beat visiting NLC foe Warsaw 6-5.

At Dunlap, Travis Pickard collected two hits and scored two runs as Goshen (4-5, 2-3) beat NLC opponent Concord 4-2.

At Mishawaka, Marian pitcher Mike Farkas fanned six and held homestanding Penn to one first-inning run and five hits in helping the Knights (6-5, 4-4) posting a 2-1 NIC victory.

In the NECC tournament, Fairfield and Westview both won quarterfinal games at home — the Falcons beating Lakeland 6-1 behind the pitching of Brad Lantz (six strikeouts) and the Warriors topping Prairie Heights 7-3 behind the pitching and hitting of Jamar Weaver (eight strikeouts, two hits).

At Culver, Tanner Watson had three hits with two doubles and three runs batted in and Kenny Bearss collected three hits with a triple as Elkhart Christian bested Culver Academy 10-6.
