Baseball: Malcom strikes out nine as Central moves to 8-0

Cory Malcom had nine strikeouts and won his fifth game of the season to lead Central to a 6-1 win over Marian. Matt Eppers had three hits and stole four bases for the unbeaten Blue Blazers.

Plymouth scored twice in the seventh and once in the ninth to beat Wawasee in a Northern Lakes Conference battle, 7-6.
