McGuire’s 37 not enough in EMHS loss

MICHIGAN CITY — Markese McGuire scored 37 points, but it wasn’t quite enough as Memorial dropped a 62-20 boys basketball game Friday, Feb. 22 at Michigan City Marquette.

The Blazers outscored the Crimson Chargers 33-27 in the second half and won for the seventh time in their last eight games.

Jasmin Biberovic led Marquette with 14 points.

EMHS will take a three-game losing streak into next Tuesday’s 4A Elkhart Sectional matchup with Goshen.
