Boys basketball $SUBT_ON$Watson tallies 22 as ECA wins 12th$SUBT_OFF$

SOUTH BEND — Juniors Tanner Watson and Ryan Kupferschmid combined for 40 points with nine 3-pointers as Elkhart Christian downed host Trinity of South Bend 67-50 in boys high school basketball Friday, Feb. 8.

Watson netted 22 points and was 5 of 6 outside the arc while Kupferschmid finished with 18 and was 4 of 8 on treys.

The Eagles (12-5) won for the fifth time in their last six games and improved to 7-3 away from home.

The Titans (8-10) were paced by Boby Cramer with 14 points. Mark Smith added 12.
