NLC Chargers rally late to upset Warsaw

Hershberger hits for career-high 21.

WARSAW — James Hershberger’s career-high 21 points lifted Memorial to a 48-47 NLC road upset of Warsaw on Friday night.

John Swanson of the Tigers missed two free throws with three seconds left to give the Chargers (7-9) their third conference victory. EMHS rallied from nine points down at halftime by hitting seven of its nine 3-pointers in the final two quarter.

Dimitri Geiger added 10 points while Markese McGuire, who made just one field goal, grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds.

Jared Bloom led Warsaw with 24 points.
