Zurcher nets 28 in NorthWood loss

LIGONIER — Three West Noble players — Nick Thomas (15 points), Keith Gibson (14) and Drew Schermerhorn (14) — scored in double digits Tuesday and the Chargers held off NorthWood 63-60 in boys basketball.

West Noble (14-1) had a double-figure lead in the late going then turned back the Panthers (11-4), which got 28 points from Zach Zurcher and 10 from Jonathon Wilkinson.

Zurcher netted four of NorthWood’s five 3-pointers.
