Concord improves to 13-1 with win over LaPorte

LAPORTE — Filip Serwatka’s hot hand led No. 20 Concord to a 62-51 win at LaPorte Saturday night.

Serwatka sank five 3-pointers in his 23-point effort and also led the Minutemen with 11 rebounds. The win moves Concord to 13-1 for the season.

In a physical game that saw 37 total fouls and 43 total free throw shots, both LaPorte’s Mitch Mrozinski and Concord’s Ramon Johnson fouled out.

Gage Ott led the Slicers (3-13) with 19 points and five rebounds. Franko House pitched in 16 points for the Minutemen
