Plymouth’s balance too much for Warriors

SYRACUSE —Plymouth outscored Wawasee 31-11 in the first half and went on to beat the Warriors 57-30 in the Northern Lakes Conference Friday night.

Junior center Mack Mercer led a balanced Plymouth attack with 14 points, while Ike Kastner and Joe Knapp each had 11 for the Pilgrims, who are now 11-2 overall (2-2 in the NLC).

Wawasee, which had seven 3-point baskets, but only two inside the arc, was led by Aaron Voirol’s eight points.
