MISHAWAKA — Central held Mishawaka to 13 second-half points, but fell a point short to the Cavemen 40-39 in a Northern Indiana Conference boys basketball game on Friday night.

Jaron Walters topped Central with 14 points for the Blue Blazers.

Cody Childress scored 11 points for the Cavemen, who missed 9 of 13 shots at the free throw line.
