Struggling Chargers lose to Mishawaka

MISHAWAKA — Chris Mitchell scored 21 points Wednesday night to lead Mishawaka to a tough 55-49 victory over Memorial in boys basketball action.

Senior Markese McGuire led Memorial with 16 points, while teammate Freddie Rhodes added 13. Sophomore Dimitri Geiger grabbed 12 boards for the Chargers. Don Mitchell added 10 points for Mishawaka

The loss was the fifth straight for the Chargers, who drop to 4-7 on the year. Memorial hit just 4 of its 22 shots from 3-point range in the game.
