Boys Basketball Falcons earn overtime victory

BUTLER — Fairfield improved to 4-0 in the Northeast Corner Conference Saturday night by beating Eastside, 69-63, in a tough overtime boys basketball battle.

The Falcons overcame a five point deficet in the fourth quarter to send the game to overtime, then outscored Eastside 12-6 on the extra period.

Joseph Line led a balanced Fairfield attack with 16 points, while Brad Lantz added 14 and Marcus Rodes 10. Jayden Lilly scored a game-high 26 in a losing cause for Eastside.

The same two teams play Tuesday at Eastside in NECC Tourney first round.
