Boys Basketball Fairfield improves to 2-1

LAGRANGE — Fairfield soared past Lakeland 56-36 in a Northeast Corner Conference matchup Tuesday night.

The Falcons (2-1) took advantage of a 20-4 second-quarter scoring advantage to spark a comfortable win over the Lakers (0-3).

Fairfield’s Brad Lantz led all scorers with 13 points, while teammates Garrett Scott and Marcus Rodes chipped in 12 points apiece. Scott also pulled down 10 rebounds for the Falcons, while Rodes registered five takeaways.

Fairfield will travel to NorthWood on Saturday.
