WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) — Some Purdue football fans will be part of the action when the Boilermakers host Iowa on Sept. 27.

Students who purchase all-sports season tickets by Tuesday can submit photos of themselves wearing Purdue gear that will be used to form the “Motion P” logo on the team’s helmet for that game. Non-student season ticket holders were previously notified that they can also submit photos.

The helmet logo is normally in solid colors.

From a distance, a prototype of the photo logo looks similar to camouflage, but it’s actually a series of tiny photos.

Purdue assistant athletic director for marketing and ticketing Chris Peludat tells the Journal & Courier (http://on.jconline.com/1tLPiZZ ) that fans who submit photos will receive a digital copy of the logo used for the game.
