Notre Dame fans share excitement, pride on social media ahead of upcoming Rice game

The Fighting Irish will face off against Rice University Saturday, Aug. 30, at Notre Dame Stadium, and fans have taken to social media to express their excitement about the upcoming game. 

This year’s season comes with many new additions, from new Under Armour jerseys to new FieldTurf. Notre Dame also revealed “The Shirt” for 2014 last April, and some fans have taken the opportunity to show their Fighting Irish pride by sharing pictures of it online.
