Irish find out their ACC opponents over next 3 seasons

Notre Dame’s first set of Atlantic Coast Conference football games will include a road trip to Florida State, according to a report by ESPN.com.

The Irish will join the ACC next season in all sports but football and ice hockey, though football has committed to five games against league teams.

The football squad will conduct its annual Blue-Gold scrimmage on Saturday, April 20.

According to ESPN, Notre Dame will have 2014 home games with North Carolina, Louisville and Wake Forest and away games at FSU and Syracuse.

The Irish 2015 opponents would be Boston College and Georgia Tech at home with trips to Clemson, Pittsburgh and Virginia.

Virginia Tech, Miami and Duke are named as 2016 opponents at Notre Dame Stadium with road dates at North Carolina State and Syracuse.

Notre Dame will open its 2013 season at home vs. Temple on Aug. 31. Other home opponents this season are Michigan State, Oklahoma, USC, Navy and BYU with a neutral-site date planned in Arlington, Texas, against Arizona State.
