St. Francis women win NAIA championship

The St. Francis women's basketball team pushed past College of the Ozarks to snag its first-ever National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics championship Monday, March 17.

Skylarr Shurn led the 37-0 Cougars with 30 points in the win. Akyah Taylor, an Elkhart Memorial graduate, is on the St. Francis team but did not play in the championship game.
