Remember when batters walked to the plate and pitchers took the mound without their own personal music?
For years now, it seems, everybody in baseball has their own song. They even do it at the college and high school levels.
There's a website dedicated to Major League Baseball walk-up music called Designated Hits.
We know that "Enter Sandman" by Metallica was associated with Mariano Rivera.
Jake Peavy has used Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama."
Justin Masterson has entered to "Bingo" by Still Trill Christians.
I recall Nolan Ryan coming in to "Texas Twister" by Little Feat.
Bob Marley's "Three Little Birds" has been tied to Shane Victorino.
Now, Major League Baseball has decided to keep walk-up songs to 15 seconds in an attempt to speed up games.
That means that "Three Little Birds" gets clipped and Victorino is not happy about it.
If it were me, I might use B.B. King's "Let The Good Times Roll."
If you had your own walk-up music, which song would you choose?
I'll be anxious to "hear" the replies.
