Rudy Cherniak

GOSHEN — Rudy Cherniak, of Goshen, shot his third and fourth lifetime holes-in-one April 11 and Aug. 4 at Black Squirrel Golf Club.

He aced the 130-yard No. 4 hole April 11 with a 6-hybrid. Witnesses were Woody Dennis, Ron Newton and Jim Nickels.

His Aug. 4 ace came on the 110-yard No. 15 hole and was witnessed by Woody Dennis and Curt Warren.

 

Old Orchard

Bob Stratton

ELKHART — Bob Stratton shot a hole-in-one Aug. 1 at Old Orchard Golf Course.

Stratton aced the No. 3 hole with a lob wedge. Witnesses were Dave Willis, Ron Streby and Leroy Fowler.

Aug. 23 — RETA Outing, Meadow Valley Golf Club in Middlebury Registration begins at 7 a.m. for an 8 a.m. shotgun start to a four person scramble; cost is $60 per individual or $240 per team before Aug. 1 or $75 per individual or $300 per team after Aug. 1. Entry deadline is Aug. 15. Cost includes 18 holes with cart, lunch and door prizes.
