MISHAWAKA — Madison Schrock, a 2013 graduate of Northridge High School, has transferred to Bethel College to play basketball for first-year coach Andrew Wodrich.

Schrock signed to play softball at Bowling Green State University and spent her freshman year playing for the Falcons. She was second on the team with a .358 on base percentage and started 50 games.

In her senior season at Northridge, Schrock averaged 12 points a game and was an Academic All-State selection. She set five individual program records for Northridge, including most career 3-point field goals (149), most 3-pointers in a season (67), highest career free throw percentage (87.4) and highest free throw percentage in a season (92.9).

“I couldn’t be happier about joining the Bethel Lady Pilots,” Schrock said. “The school fits both my academic and spiritual needs, which really led me to come here. Coach Wodrich and the basketball staff have been very welcoming to me and I’m excited to get started.”
