Silver Hawks playoff tickets go on sale Monday, Aug. 4

South Bend plays a best-of-three series Sept. 3-5, with second game at home, and third as well if necessary.

SOUTH BEND — The South Bend Silver Hawks, a postseason spot long clinched, have learned their first-round dates for the Midwest League playoffs, and tickets for their opening series go on sale Monday, Aug. 4.

The Hawks will play the second-half Eastern Division winner in a best-of-three series, set for Sept. 3-5. The opening game will be on the road, the second game at Four Winds Field and the third, if necessary, also at Four Winds.

The Thursday, Sept. 4, contest (7:05 p.m.) will be followed by a fireworks show. If played, the Sept. 5 game is slated for 7:35 p.m.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 4. Fans may purchase at the box office, by calling 574-235-9988 or online at Box office hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Eight teams make the playoffs in the Midwest League.
