Nappanee's Kauffman finishes second in IGF Central Masters

Carmel’s Stone shoots 143, while Kauffman closes at 145 in 63-player field.

CICERO — Logan Kauffman of Nappanee tied for second place in the Indiana Golf Foundation Central Junior Masters July 20-21 at Bear Slide Golf Club.

Kauffman shot a 3-over-par 145 for two rounds to finish two shots back of Carmel’s Kevin Stone (70-73—143).

Kauffman, who had rounds of 73 and 72, tied Brady Sappenfield of Martinville for runner-up honors.

Nappanee’s Brayden Glaser, who like Kauffman was a senior on NorthWood’s State Finals golf team this spring, was in a group fied for 27th at 159, while Elkhart’s Braden Sherwood shared 35th at 161.

There were 63 golfers in the field.
