Home runs propel Osolo to District 14 Little League baseball title

Ryan Charles and Brendon Harrington each knocked three-run homers in Osolo’s 11-3 championship win over Warsaw in Major Baseball Sunday, July 13.

Osolo will advance to the state championship Saturday, July 19, in Indianapolis against the District 8 winner.

In Junior Softball, Caityln Doyel dished out 12 strikeouts for Goshen in a 19-13 win over Middlebury. Adriana Berger and Kaylin Grose both doubled twice for Goshen, while Grace Beard hit two doubles for Middlebury.

In Junior Baseball, Osolo edged out Middlebury, 7-6, in eight innings. Derrek Deal pitched the win for Osolo and also contributed a double.
