Osolo advances to senior state softball finals

Osolo posts shut out wins over Baugo.

The Osolo senior softball team advanced to the D-8 state finals on Saturday, July 5, thanks to a pair of victories over Baugo in the District 14 Little League All-Star Tournament.

Osolo won the first game 20-0 behind the pitching of Destiny Bell, before winning the second game 10-0, as Audrey Garner was the winning pitcher.

Osolo will play in the state finals in Indianapolis beginning Thursday, July 10.

In a 9&10 softball game, Baugo’s Cierra Woods posted 11 strikeouts and had a pair of hits in a 12-0 victory over Middlebury.

In Major Baseball action, Baugo defeated Middlebury 12-1, as Sam Wort and Dustin Whitman each had two hits.
