Emma Sandy leads Middlebury to easy win

Huxford leads Concord to 50/70 title game

Emma Sandy had quite a day on Friday, June 27, as the District 14 Little All-Stars tournament got underway in Major Softball.

Sandy was the winning pitcher as Middlebury defeated Goshen 11-1, while also picking up three hits — including a double and a triple. Teammate Faith Ordway added two hits for Middlebury.

In the other Major Softball game, Alexis Kern had eight strikeouts to lead Concord past Osolo, 7-1.

In 50/70 Intermediate baseball action, Max Huxford picked up the victory, while also slugging a homer, as Concord #1 defeated Concord #2, 14-2.

In Big League Baseball action, Osolo moved into the title game by defeating Middlebury, 6-4. Hunger Alexander and winning pitcher Garrett Medford each hat two doubles for the winners.

Osolo will host the title game on Sunday, June 29, against Elkhart FOP/IAFF.
