CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Riley Futterknecht, a 2013 Elkhart Central High School graduate, pitched six innings of no-hit ball against NCAA Division III's third-ranked scoring offense, and the three relievers who followed closed out the game as DePauw defeated Wooster 4-2 on Saturday, May 10, in the North Coast Athletic Conference baseball tournament championship game.

With the win, DePauw (23-19) also earned the NCAC's automatic qualification into the NCAA Division III Championship. The Tigers play No. 1-ranked Webster on Wednesday, May 14, in Moline, Ill.

Futterknecht hurled six innings and 98 pitches against Wooster in a loss Thursday, May 8, that was nearly perfect in the NCAC tourney final. After allowing a walk to the Wooster leadoff hitter, he didn't allow another base runner over six innings.

Left-hander Futterknecht (4-0, 1.93 earned run average) was named to the all-tournament team.
