Middlebury's Andy Williams finishes 60th at Boston Marathon

A Northridge Middle School teacher shaved almost two minutes off his 2013 effort in this year's Boston Marathon.

BOSTON — Andy Williams was a little faster at this year's Boston Marathon.

Williams, a Middlebury resident and Northridge Middle School teacher, placed 60th at the Boston Marathon Monday, April 21, clocking in at 2 hours, 26 minutes, 38 seconds, which was 1:51 better than his 68th place finish in 2013.

The top Indiana finisher last year, Williams was second this year.

Lyle Bontrager of Shipshewana was 719th overall in 2:47.10 and Atlee Lambright of Topeka was 817th at 2:48.25.
