Volleyball and diving activities in Elkhart County

Find out where kids in grades 5 to 8 can attend a diving camp and learn how to sign up for a spring volleyball league.

Diving

Elkhart Central camps: Elkhart Central diving coach Tom Adams will conduct camps June 23-27 at the ECHS pool. Students entering grades 5 to 8 in 2014-15 will meet daily from 3 to 4 p.m., with high school campers meeting daily from 4 to 6 p.m. Grade school campers will receive instruction in the five voluntary groups of dives plus some optional. Students should be able to swim at least one length of a 25-yard pool and be able to dive head-first off the board. Campers are asked to bring a swimsuit and arrive early enough to change by camp start time. High school campers will learn voluntary and optional dives. Difficulty will be based on individual skills. Cost is $35 for grades 5 to 8 or $64 for high school, each payble to ECHSAA Diving. To reserve a spot contact Adams by June 20 at 574-875-6529.

Volleyball

ESC spring league: Elkhart Sports Center has scheduled a league for U12 and U14 girls beginning at 9 a.m. April 20 and 28 and May 4 and 18.
