Smyers wins Michiana Bowlers Association event

The next Michiana Bowlers Association event is April 12 at Kelley's Bowl in St. Joseph, Mich.

MISHAWAKA — Michigan City's Joe Smyers defeated South Bend's Greg Spinner Sunday, March 30, in the finals of the Michiana Bowlers Assocation Masters Invitational tournament, sponsored by AfDent, at Parkway Lanes East.

It was Smyers' second MBA tournament title.

Bill Reeves, of Niles, Mich., had the high game of the tournament with a 288.
