Beginning fishing lessons offered April 19 at Ferrettie/Baugo park in Osceola

OSCEOLA — A free beginner's fishing lesson will be offered by the St. Joseph County Parks Department on Sunday, April 19, at Ferrettie/Baugo Creek County Park in Osceola.

Participating individuals must be at least eight years old and those under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

A park gate fee of $3 for St. Joe County vehicles and $4 for other vehicles still applies.

Registration is required by April 16. Call 574-654-3155 for more information or to register.

In addition, the parks department is offering no-license-required fishing on April 19 and May 17 at all St. Joe County parks. The $3 and $4 fees still apply.
