Sign up for Uprising Starts junior high flag football, little league baseball, volleyball clinics this month

Find out how to sign up for Uprising Stars' junior high flag football league and other volleyball, little league and basketball sports leagues in the coming months.

Sixth, seventh and eight graders can sign up for Uprising Stars' junior high school flag football league from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 9, at the Elkhart Central High School. Uprising Starts will hold tryouts in April.

Those who prefer baseball may register for the Concord Little League during tryouts from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sunday, March 8, at the Concord High School Activities Center. 

Volleyball players can also register for Goshen High School's girls' volleyball clinic for Grades 4 and 5 by March 21. Registration forms are available at Goshen elementary schools. The clinics will be held from April 21 to 25 and the league will be held on May 8, 15, 22 and 24.

U12 and U14 teams may also sign up for the Elkhart Sports Center's spring volleyball league at their website. The league will be held at 9 a.m. on April 20, April 27 and May 4 and May 18.

Krush Volleyball Club's tryouts for the 2014 Spring Season is scheduled for Sunday, March 9, at the Krush Courts in Niles, Michigan.

Basketball teams may also sign up for the North American Youth Sports' spring basketball tournament for grades 5 to 11 by March 21. The girls' and boys' tournament is scheduled for April 11 to 13 at the Kroc Center and The Montessori Academy at Edison Lakes
