McCoy goes for 30 as Westview claims title

ALBION — Maria McCoy had a sectional title game to remember, scoring 30 points to lead Westview to a 75-55 victory over Prairie Heights in the Class 2A Central Noble Sectional on Saturday, Feb. 15.

The Warriors, now 19-3, will face Winamac in the opening round of the Rensselaer Regional on Saturday, Feb. 22.

Kristen Duff added 18 points for Westview, while Sidney Byrkett added 14 and Grace Hales 10 in the high-scoring contest.

Tressa Terry scored 18 points for Prairie Heights.
