NorthWood knocks off one-loss West Noble

Panthers hand Chargers second straight loss

NAPPANEE — In a battle of two one-loss teams, NorthWood erupted in the second quarter to cruise to a 71-54 win over West Noble. NorthWood’s Zach Zurcher led the scoring onslaught, giving the Panthers 27 points as well as grabbing six rebounds. Jonathan Wilkinson also added 20 points to the Panthers effort along with Braxton Linville’s team-high 14 assists and four steals.

West Noble drops their second game in a row, falling to 11-2 on their season. The Chargers were led by Drew Schemerhorn and Phil Miller who each scored 14 points.

NorthWood improves to 13-1 on the season.
