Five Bethel players hit double figures in 82-65 win over Goshen.

GOSHEN _ The Bethel College men’s basketball team placed five players in double figures and dominated the second half as the Pilots defeated Goshen 82-65 in Crossroads Conference action on Wednesday, Jan. 29.

Matt Schauss nearly had a triple double for the Pilots, finishing with 12 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists. Patrick Oetting led a balanced Bethel attack with 20 points, while Zach Miller had 18, with Ryan Benner and Michael Mislan each scoring 10.

The Pilots led by just one at halftime before shooting 62 percent in the second half — including an 8-of-14 effort from 3-point range.

Stefon Luckey topped Goshen with 19 points, while Billy Gerschke added 13.
