ELKHART — Michigan City’s Joe Smyers defeated Granger’s Todd Brown 231-226 Sunday, Jan. 19, in finals of the Michiana Bowlers Association Tapley Pro Shop Open.

Final standings: 1. Joe Smyers (Michigan City) $600; 2. Todd Brown (Granger) $300; 3. Aaron Phillips (Allendale, Mich.) $225; 4 (tie). Aaron Lintz (South Bend) and Scott Keller (South Bend) $175 each; 6 (tie). Rich Benninghoff (South Bend), David Matheny (Benton Harbor) and Jeremy Delcamp (Millersburg) $150 each; 9. Kevin Beckman (Watervliet) $105; 10. Kyle Leamer (Coloma) $95.
