Klingler, McKee win titles in Frightening 5K/Haunted Hilly Half Marathon

BRISTOL — Anthony Klingler won the half-marathon and Garrett McKee the short run as 342 individuals participated in the fourth running Frightening 5K and Haunted Hilly Half Marathon on Saturday, Oct. 26, at Bonneyville Mill County Park.

Many competitors who navigated the Bristol fruithills also wore costumes for the event that raises funds for the Elkhart County Down Syndrome Support Group.

According to race organizer Paula Turk, officials were hopeful that about $10,000 would be raised.
