GOSHEN — This year’s rodeo at the Elkhart County 4-H Fair was staged with two key changes.

The event had new directors with Terry Shewmaker and Barney Beer taking over for the late Herb Maust.

The rodeo was also operated by new contractors 3 Bar J Rodeo Co., though it remained an International Pro Rodeo Association-sanctioned event.

Rodeo events got started at 1 p.m. Friday, July 26, at the grandstand and resume with further events at 8 p.m.
