Vance bound for Hershey’s state track meet

Event is July 6 in Muncie.

MUNCIE — Goshen’s Catherine Vance, 11, is among those who is taking advantage of a free track and field program sponsored by the Hershey’s chocolate company.

The Goshen Middle School sixth grader in 2013-14 has qualified for the Indiana state finals to be held Saturday, July 6, at Muncie Central High School. She is qualified in the 100-meter dash and softball throw in the girls 11-12 age division.

State winners advance to regionals with a chance at the national finals in Hershey, Pa.
