Jim Reinebold Fall Camp: The 20th annual Jim Reinebold Fall High School Baseball Camp is scheduled for Sept. 14 through the second week of October. T-Point camp, small-group training: A Tipping Point Basketball camp for grades 3-8 is scheduled for July 8-12 (9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day) for $195 per camper at the Elkhart Sports Center. For more information visit

Flag Football

National Flag Football clinic: NFF has scheduled a free clinic for boys and girls ages 4-10 from noon to 2 p.m. on July 20 at a location in Elkhart. Advanced registration is required. To register online go to


Concord camp: The Concord High School football camp is set for July 15-18. Those entering grades 4-6 will meet from 10 a.m. to noon, and those entering grades 7-8 will meet from 1 to 3 p.m. Cost is $35. Elkhart Memorial camp: The annual Crimson Charger Summer Football Camp is scheduled for July 15-18. Athletes in grades 4-8 will meet daily from 1 to 2:30 p.m. The cost is $20, $10 for each additional sibling in the family. Forms are available at the Memorial High School athletic office. Goshen JFL, middle school camps: The JFL camp for ages 9-12 and middle school camp for grades 7-8 — both in full pads — are July 22-25 at Pringle Park. Equipment will be issued from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on July 18 at Pringle Park. Nappanee Missionary Church camp: The church will host its first camp for fourth through eighth graders Aug. 1-3. Girls entering grades 4-6 will meet from 9 to 10:30 a.m. each day and grades 7-8 will meet from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Camp instructors include former NorthWood High coach Peg Bough, former Bethel College All-American Katie Weiss and current NorthWood Middle School coach Kim Moore, as well as current and former high school and college players. Cost is $35 by July 28. A camp T-shirt is included. Families with multiple participants receive a $10 discount for the second, third and fourth campers. College Prep Camp for Girls: The camp is for girls ages 13-17 July 22-26 at Indiana Invaders Soccer Complex west of South Bend and will feature Ball State University coach Craig Roberts, Toledo University coach Brad Evans St. Bonaventure University coach Steve Brdarski, Grace College coach Michael Voss and Haiti Women’s National Team coach Shek Borkowski. Cost is $195 per individual or $125 per player for a team of 15. Register online at

Elkhart Community Schools girls camp: The Central and Memorial High School girls soccer programs are collaborating on an Elkhart Community Schools summer camp for girls entering grades 5-8. Camp will be in session from 6 to 8 p.m. July 15-17 at Central. Head coaches Chris Malott of Central and Don Knowlton of Memorial will direct, assisted by varsity players from each school. Coerver camps at ESC: Coerver method soccer skills training clinics for players ages 8-16 are planned for June 25-28 and July 15-18 at the Elkhart Sports Center. Times are 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day. Cost is $190, with a $15 discount for each family multiple participant. Early bird cost for the July clinic is $165. Nappanee Missionary Church camp: The church will host its second annual camp for first through 12th graders July 11-13. Grades 1-2 will meet from 9 to 11 a.m. each day and grades 3-12 will meet from 9 a.m. to noon. Camp activities take place both at the church and NorthWood High School. Tolson Center Adult Indoor League: The league at Tolson Gym in Elkhart will run July 11 to Aug. 29 for men and women ages 21 and older. Cost is $200 for a team of eight players. Registrations must be turned in at Tolson by Friday, July 5. For more information contact Keidrick Stout at 295-6456.

Sports PRograms

Goshen Summer Sports Performance Program: The training program for Goshen Community Schools athletes entering grades 7-12 meets each Monday through Thursday through Aug. 1 at Goshen High School, except IHSAA moratorium week (July 1-7). GHS/GMS athletes must have a physical on file in their respective athletic offices. After July 1, it must be dated after April 1, 2013. Free breakfast (7:30 to 8:30 a.m.) and lunch (11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) will be served to GCS students only.


Elkhart Club and Elkhart Eagles: The program is conducting open registration for the 2013 season through Aug. 5. The program is open to all students entering grades 6-12. This includes home-schooled as well as public, private, charter or alternative schools. There will be a high school and a junior high team. 12U, 10U tourneys at Riverview: Tournaments for 12U and 10U teams are planned for Aug. 3-4 at Riverview Park in Elkhart. Cost is $375 with a four-game guarantee. Must have proof of team insurance. A maximum ot six teams per age group. For more information call 850-9579 or email to
