Notre Dame Cave signs as free agent with Browns

Steelers ink Golic; Wood yet to sign.

NOTRE DAME — Braxston Cave, a Penn High School graduate and Notre Dame center, has signed as an undrafted free agent with the Cleveland Browns.

Cave, a 6-foot-3, 304-pounder, started all 13 games for the Fighting Irish in 2012. He started 35 times and played 48 career games at ND.

Mike Golic Jr., a 6-3, 300-pound offensive lineman, also went undrafted and signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

ND running back Cierre Wood had yet to sign with any NFL team as of press time Saturday night.
