ELKHART — The Mountain Man is coming to town.

Basketball Hall of Famer Bill Walton is scheduled to speak at The Lerner Theatre, 410 S. Main St., Elkhart, as part of Oaklawn Foundation for Mental Health’s 14th Spring Spectacular on Friday, May 17.

Walton, a star at UCLA and in the NBA who has suffered from chronic pain and depression and is now an Emmy-winning broadcaster and in-demand motivational speaker, will deliver the keynote, “Climbing to the Top of the Mountain — One More Time,” weaving personal anecdotes with statistics, research and tips for others who suffer.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the 7:30 show.
