Scott, Stephens lead Falcons to win

ANGOLA — Senior Garrett Scott scored 13 points and teammate Josh Stephens added 11, as Fairfield pulled away in the second half to beat Angola, 45-35, in Northeast Corner Conference boys basketball action on Saturday.

The Falcons, now 9-10 overall and 5-3 in the NECC, led by just two at halftime, before outscoring Angola 10-5 in the third quarter to take a seven point advantage in the final eight minutes.

Marcus Rodes chipped in 10 points for the Falcons, while Brad Lantz had nine points and eight rebounds. Simon Brown’s 12 points topped Angola.
