Goshen’s offense struggles in loss

The Goshen College women¿s basketball team suffered a tough 53-45 loss to visiting Mount Vernan Nazarene on Wednesday.

GOSHEN — The Goshen College women’s basketball team finished the first half of its Crossroads League season at 0-9 Wednesday after a tough 53-45 loss to visiting Mount Vernan Nazarene.

Frsehman Tyra Carver led the Maple Leafs with 15 points while Jamie Stack had nine points and six rebounds for Goshen — now 2-19 overall this season.

Mount Vernon outrebounded the Maple Leafs 52-41. Both teams had 24 turnovers.
