Titans dominate Goshen in victory

Goshen College women fall to IUSB 75-42

GOSHEN — The Indiana University-South Bend Titans closed the first half on a 16-1 run and went on to defeat Goshen 75-42 in women’s college basketball action on Wednesday.

The Titans led 22-14 with eight minutes to play in the first half, before taking the commanding 38-15 lead into the lockeroom at halftime. IUSB shot 52 percent from the field for the game.

Nichole Sly led a balanced Titan attack with 14 points, while Lauren Adams added 11. Emily Strilich had nine points and 11 rebounds for the winners.

Tyra Carver topped Goshen with nine points, while teammate Jo’Mani Thomas had seven rebounds.
