Little League Hanna steers Baugo into senior final

Phil Hanna's pitching and hitting led Baugo in Little League District 14 senior baseball play

Phil Hanna got the win on the mound and stroked three hits as host Baugo blanked Edwardsburg 7-0 in District 14 Little League All-Stars senior baseball play Wednesday.

Baugo earned a spot in Friday’s championship against Warsaw at Edwardsburg.

Senior Baseball

Game 6: Baugo 7, Edwardsburg 0. WP — Phil Hanna. LP — Dustin Kelly.

Baugo: Hits — Hanna 3, Nate Thompson 2.

Championship: Baugo vs. Warsaw Friday at Edwardsburg, 6 p.m.

9-10 Baseball

Game 10: Cleveland 7, Middlebury 0. WP — Drew Pressler. LP — Brandon Yoder.

Cleveland: Hits — Reagen Butts 2, Jacob Marley 2. 3B — Butts. 2B — Butts

Game 11: Mishawaka 19, Bristol 9. WP — Austen Hamilton. LP — Graham Elli.

Mishawaka: Hits — Don Russo 3. 2B — Russo.

Bristol: Hits — Jacob Hazen 2.

Game 12: Osolo vs. Edwardsburg, tied in eighth inning, will resume today at Edwardsburg.

Game 13: Warsaw 8, Goshen 7.

Semifinals: Cleveland vs. Mishawaka today at Osolo, 6 p.m.; Warsaw vs. today’s Osolo/Edwardsburg winner Friday at Goshen.
