Jessica George and Sarah DeShone's victory at No. 1 doubles keyed a 3-2 victory for the Jimmies (2-0) over visiting Concord.

At Syracuse, Goshen's No. 1 doubles team of Andrea Detweiler and Margaret Short was victorious as the Redskins (3-0, 1-0) defeated Northern Lakes Conference foe Wawasee 4-1.

At Elkhart, Audrey Putman, Christa Osterloo and Sarah Schubert dropped only one game between them in singles play as Central (2-0, 1-0) swept South Bend Washington 5-0 in the Northern Indiana Conference opener for both teams.

At Nappanee, Alli Heeter and Jill Focht prevailed at No. 1 doubles as NorthWood (2-0) edged Bethany Christian 3-2.

At Angola, Cathy Wingstrom won at No. 1 singles as Westview beat Angola 4-1.

At Benton, Alyssa Hottinger and Kenzie Pletcher took No. 1 doubles as Northridge (2-0) blanked Fairfield 5-0.
