The Goshen Board of Zoning Appeals approved a petition from the county commissioners for the 600-square-foot expansion.

Six months after acquiring the building, Goshen Theater Inc. remains committed to restoring it and has the community’s support in doing so. But first it must address some basic infrastructure issues.

 One of local landlord Ronal Davidhizar's properties, at 1403 S. Main Street, sits vacant Friday, Oct. 24. The house is part of the receivership program, in which a receiver will manage the property bring to livable conditions.

The receivership program is the latest of Goshen’s city officials’ efforts to bring vacant properties owned by local landlord Ronald Davidhizar up to code.
