The South swept three games from the North.

The Indiana baseball all-state honorable mention list includes representatives from Concord, Elkhart Memorial, Marian and Westview.

 Penn High School plans to recognize its 1997 IHSAA Class 5A state football champions Friday, Sept. 19, at Freed Field.

 Steve Anson, 60, died Sunday, June 22, 2014, in a tree-trimming accident at his residence northeast of Topeka, Kan. The Penn High School graduate was head baseball coach at Washburn University the past 35 years.

The Penn High School graduate won 844 games in 35 seasons at Washburn University in Topeka, Kan.
