WHITE PIGEON, Mich. — Mae D. Willings, 81, of White Pigeon, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 20, at Thurston Woods Village in Sturgis.
She was born in Oakman County, Ala., Nov. 19, 1932, a daughter of Cranford and Mandy (Davis) Smith.
Mae worked at Yukon Delta in Elkhart in the 1970's.
On June 10, 1950, she married Walter F. Willings in Columbus, Miss. He preceded her in death on Dec. 19, 1998.
Mae enjoyed gardening, flowers, trees and birds, and loved spending time with her family.
Mae is survived by her daughters, Betty (Wendell) Bowen of White Pigeon, Diane Lynn Nance of White Pigeon and Robin (Barry) Lusk of South Bend; sons Phillip Willings of White Pigeon and Jerry (Debbie) Willings of White Pigeon; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister Martha Purvis of Elkhart; brothers Raymond Smith of Virginia and Alfred Smith of Oakman, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and nine brothers and sisters.
Relatives and friends will be received at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine on Monday, Aug. 25, from noon until service time at 2 p.m. The Rev. Terry Neumayer of Trinity Missionary Church will officiate. Interment will be in Mottville Township Cemetery.
